Early Years and Breakthrough

U2's formation began with Larry Mullen Jr.'s note on the bulletin board at Mount Temple Comprehensive School, seeking musicians to form a band. Initially called Feedback and later The Hype, they eventually settled on the name U2. The band quickly gained a reputation for their passionate live performances, leading to a recording contract with Island Records in 1980.

This is QUALITY product screen printed directly (NOT TRANSFERRED) with textile inks dried with infrared heater up to 160° Celsius,which makes them UNWASHABLE at lower temperatures.DO NOT iron on top of the ink as this will melt it.IRON INSIDE OUT ONLY!!!
