Origins and Evolution

Arch Enemy was formed in 1995 by guitarist Michael Amott, with a lineup that included his brother Christopher Amott and various other musicians. Early on, the band’s logo was relatively straightforward, reflecting their emerging identity within the metal scene. As their music matured and their style solidified, so too did the sophistication of their visual presentation.
